Solstice Potluck & Ceremony

December 22, 2019 4-7 pm 

Join us for our annual holiday potluck. We'll celebrate the Winter Solstice, the darkest point of the year, as we enter winter and ever increasing light. A short ceremony will be included. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share for our potluck and merriment. Good food and good company, a great way to greet the season!

Dr. Carissa Fioritto, naturopathic physician, will talk on naturopathic healing through diet and natural medicine. Dr. Fioritto will discuss the modern approaches to gut healing and the various ways medicine approaches this important aspect of our health. She will describe what makes the naturopathic approach to gut health unique, various common digestive ailments, and some truly effective solutions to these problems many face on a daily basis! 
Presenter: Dr. Carissa Fioritto, ND, RN, naturopathic physician of Collaborative Natural Health Partners, Manchester, CT. She also holds a registered nursing license. Dr. Fioritto believes all healing begins with the gut and takes a special interest in digestive health, hormone balance, and IV nutrient therapy.

Discover where this power originated. Where did these Tibetan Singing Bowls really come from? How did we learn to use them? Are gongs really that old? What about drums and rattles? Tuning forks are among the newer instruments. And let's not forget everyone's natural instrument, the human voice. Come, listen to two sound healers as they tell you their experiences while demonstrating and teaching some simple self-healing techniques for home use.
