Earth Day Event April 2009

 In celebration of Earth Day 2009, the Alliance cleaned several section of our community's Rails to Trails hiking paths, primarily in Manchester and Vernon,   particularly the trail heads where people park and litter accumulates.  We had a great day of camaraderie--getting to know each other better (dirty and tired)--as we came together as caregivers of the community we live and work in. Check out the photo gallery.

bulletintroduce individuals to alternative and complementary healing modalities;
bullethelp people in their healing process;
bulletassist people in learning ways to move forward in their lives;
bulleteducate individuals about the benefits of living in synchronicity with their environment.

We have a number of holistic practitioners that rotate these sessions on a monthly basis.  A sampling of the modalities being offered include:

bulletReiki
bulletEnergy healing and balancing
bulletVibrational healing with the Tibetan bowls
bulletPast life memory recall
bulletThai Chi
bulletMeditation techniques

Focus Group

These clinics are held for an existing support group  that would like to further explore methods of healing in a closed group session with their peers. The greatest value to this is being supported in a safe, caring environment where you can share and connect with people whom you already know.

We are looking for any groups that may benefit from this such as woman's shelters, survivor groups or veterans, etc.

If you know of any such groups please contact us or let the group know about us.

We welcome ideas for Community Projects
